There are a number of mouth-watering ties in the first round of the Herts Senior Challenge Cup after news of the draw was released.
Chief among them is the visit of Premier League Watford to Potters Bar Town’s Pakex Stadium.
Sawbridgeworth Town also get league opposition at home with League Two Stevenage making the trip.
Elsewhere Colney Heath will go back to the scene of their Herts Charity Shield success last season when they travel to National League South Hemel Hempstead Town.
Southern League meets Isthmian League when Welwyn Garden City host Bishop’s Stortford and then is an early reunion of old rivals when London Colney host Berkhamsted.
Hitchin Town will have Spartan South Midlands League opposition at Top Field with Tring Athletic the visitors.
Six clubs have received byes including holders Boreham Wood, Baldock Town, Royston Town and St Albans City.
