Tickets go on sale from tonight (Thursday) for a special game at Boro next month.

Members of the 1996 Conference winning team will once again don their boots to take part in a match versus an Arsenal Celebrity XI.

The match will take place at Broadhall Way on Friday, April 28 (7.45pm ko).

Ticket prices are £10 for adults and £6 concessions (seats) and £8 for adults and £5 concessions (terracing).

The match will not be all-ticket and advance tickets are now available from the Boro club shop.

For those too young to remember the halcyon days of the club's finest ever season, it will be an opportunity to see members of their Conference winning team.

And for those old enough to remember those heady days, it will be a chance to see old favourites grace the Broadhall Way pitch once again.

Boro players who have confirmed they will be playing are Richard Nugent, Martin Gittings, Dave Venables, Tony Lynch, Gary Crawshaw, Neil Trebble, Steve Berry, Paul Barrowcliff, Noel Blackwell, Paul Thompson, Corey Browne, Mark Smith and Richard Wilmot (pictured right).

Unfortunately two of the stars of the team, Barry Hayles and Efe Sodje, are unable to join in as they have Football League commitments.

Boro have joined forces with the borough council to highlight the town's entry into Britain In Bloom 2006.

So get along to Broadhall Way for a walk down memory lane and help kick start Stevenage's entry.
