Multi-sports club FVS TRI celebrated their 125th member with a link up with Letchworth-based Trisports.

Now in their third season, the Hitchin-based club have attracted triathletes, cyclists and runners into one club.

It provides an ideal environment for those wishing to train and compete in one or all of the sports.

With a team of seven fully qualified coaches led by Keith Perry, the club provides an excellent training environment with sessions in the swim, bike and run disciplines.

Club chairman and coach Perry was delighted to receive the first Ridley bike from Trisports owner Mick Humphris and Ridley representative Tony Rose.

This was at an open night featuring the whole Ridley range as well as one of Tour de France rider Robbie McEwen's Ridley race bikes.

Trisports have agreed a support deal with FVS TRI providing their most promising athlete each season with a fully supported Ridley race bike.

Trisports are also assisting the development of the club and its athletes with special support packages on sports nutrition and bike equipment and servicing.
