LETCHWORTH youngsters were county runners-up.
The quality quartet were Imogen Magner, Alice Turner, David Stevenson and Sam Tomlinson (pictured) in the recent finals of the Herts Mini Red Team League.
The whole league started in October and Letchworth were in a strong cluster group with eventual finals winners Gosling. They convincingly defeated teams from Lister and Welwyn before losing to Gosling in the rounds.
But at this month's finals at Odyssey in Knebworth, they fared much better when they met Gosling again, having already beaten Harpenden, Cassiobury and Broxbourne.
The final results saw Letchworth sandwiched between Gosling and Broxbourne. Each team member received a certificate and a silver medal.
