In their final league game before the festive break, Letchworth were beaten 31-16 at Norwich.
This defeat left the Baldock Road side ninth out of 12 in the London Two North.
Stevenage Town went down to a narrow 20-17 defeat at North Road against fellow promotion hopefuls Vauxhall Motors.
This means Stags remain third in London Three North West but are now four points behind joint leaders Ruislip and Welwyn.
Datchworth are in mid-table after being beaten 24-10 by Welwyn in Saturday's local derby.
