# A charity soccer match is taking place in Letchworth Garden City next week.
The match is next Thursday (November 9) at The County Ground, the headquarters of the Herts FA (7.30pm ko).
It is between the first team and reserves of Hitchin Sunday Football League club SMU and marks the anniversary of the death of Steve Moles last year.
Steve was a manager for Letchworth Garden City Eagles for many years and then took his team into the Hitchin Sunday League as HCC Res, then Ebenezers, until they were renamed SMU as a mark of respect when he was struck down with cancer.
Admission is £2 and the night will include a raffle and auction. The bar at the ground will also be open.
All proceeds will go to the Bobby Moore Cancer Fund and the local Garden House Hospice.
