The Reds won 2-1 at Welwyn Garden City in their opening game in the SML Premier Division.
Deniz Mehmet saw his goalbound shot cleared off the line by Dorian Small before the Reds went ahead. The ball was cleared to Robert Groves and he released Wes Byrne to fire them ahead.
