Advanced local dressage horse My Day represented Great Britain with the Union Jack at Fry's CDI** International in Yorkshire.
Ridden by Essex rider Paul Hayler, the magnificent grey mare successfully gained points in the Small Tour Prix St George and Intermediaire one classes competing against a wealth of talent from the UK, Europe and even Brazil.
Owned and bred by Jane Kingsley, who lives near Stevenage, My Day has had a wonderful competitive season and was chosen by the British dressage selectors on her consistent performance at Premier League competitions.
Jane said: "I feel both privileged and honoured.
"My Day is an exceptional horse but without Paul's dedication this would not have been possible."
Although My Day will be retiring next year to become a broodmare, her name will live on in the equine world.
She features on the logo for horsefeed company My Day Feeds which supply the revolutionary products Carrot Express and Apple Express.
