Dunstable won the toss and batted but lost wickets regularly to slip to 104-7.

There were two wickets apiece for Tom Dupuy and Harmit Bahra and three for Biggleswade indoor player Matt Jones. Martin Whinnett bowled economically to concede just 27 runs in 10 overs.

A 57-run partnership between Harvey and Matthews took Dunstable to 161 before Jimmy Hart (3-29 off 4.3 overs) polished off the innings with Dunstable 170 all out.

Biggleswade's reply got off to a poor start losing James Peacock in the first over for a duck.

A second wicket stand of just 37 runs in 15 overs was ended with Stearn claiming his first two victims. Wickets then tumbled as Stearn ripped through Biggleswade, taking 7-19 from seven overs to leave Dunstable victorious by 91 runs.

Biggleswade won by two runs in a thrilling Millman Saturday One game at Henlow.

Richard Smith made 30 before a third wicket partnership of 79 between Tariq Ahmed (27) and Matt Twigg (61) took the score to 131-3 in the 31st over.

Then Dupuy, having failed to reach double figures all season on Saturdays, was partnered by Chris Brown to take 87 runs from the last 11 overs.

Dupuy was caught off the final ball of the innings for an invaluable 74 and Brown ended 26no as Biggleswade closed on 241-5 from their 45 overs.

Henlow slipped to 63-3 before James Chudley (59) and Wayne Goldsmith (73) built a 99-run partnership.

The home side edged closer until they were 232-9 with 10 runs needed from the final 10 balls.

Henlow eventually needed three off the last ball to win and Paul Lewis was run out for 26 to hand Biggleswade victory by two runs.
