THE perfect start could not produce the perfect result for Biggleswade United on Tuesday night.
United were beaten 5-1 by a mixture of Luton Town's reserve and youth team in the Beds Premier Cup final.
This was despite Keith Thomas giving the home side a shock lead - after just 21 seconds!
Ashley Harrison-Barker equalised seven minutes before the break and Danny Stevens gave the Hatters the lead just after half time.
Two goals from captain Calvin Andrew and one for substitute Matthew Kenneford ensured Luton's victory.
