Knebworth Park's second team had an impressive win over Leverstock Green by seven wickets.

Ben Davis bowled unchanged to take 3-73 in 25.4 overs to restrict the home side to 207-7. He received useful support from young paceman Nick Simpson and skipper Jarrod Turner.

Turner then launched a calculated assault on the bowling with a superb 124 to pile on 173 for the first wicket with Steve Gregory (58).

The thirds were well beaten by a strong Luton Town and Indians side.

Jeremy Goodacre's 32 was the highlight as Park were all out for 116 with 12 overs left unused. Graham Martin (23) tried to play a holding role in the middle of the order.

A brutal onslaught from openers Patel and Aftab decided the game before Sandy Reynolds and Michael Carter got two late wickets to at least give the Park a couple of bonus points.

Mark Taylor took six wickets for the second time in three matches to bowl out visitors Chipperfield 2nds for 125 to keep the fourths riding high in Division Eight. His 6-57 was supported by two wickets apiece for Michael Fisher and Gideon Sutcliffe.

Josh Roseberry (50no) impressively led the Park to a seven-wicket win.

The fifths had their third win in a row at an Old Elizabethans 2nds side riding high in the league after scoring more than 250 runs in each of their last six games. Matt Wallis, in his first game on return from university, scored 75 and John Inman was unbeaten two short of a century in a total of 277-6.

The old boys were dismissed with eight balls to spare for 146.

Steve Jenkins led from the front with a gutsy half-century to notch up the sixth team's first win of the season against previously unbeaten Old Camdenians 3rds.

Chasing 191 to win, they were soon 20-2 before Jenkins and under-17 Phil Stevens (47) added 100 for the third wicket. From 147-3, they collapsed to 171-8 before Graham Rose and Henry Snowdon steered them home.

Veteran Mike Jones (5-41 in 16 overs) had earlier restricted the visitors.

* The seventh team's first game of the season proved successful. Guy Johnson marked his debut with 4-19, and Dave Mantle (4-8) and under-12 Greg Butler (2-2) skittled out N2CC for only 32. Jo Elliot led them home with 18 to victory by eight wickets.
