Five North Herts Road Runners entered The Metro and London Sports Forum Championship 5000m.
It was a race dedicated to former member Paul Pearce and was part of a series of events to promote sport for blind and visually impaired athletes.
Pete Sibbett (17:17) was the first club member to finish the race with Gary Cook, Colin Calcutt, Karen Dodsworth and Lindsay Cook all taking part in a rare track outing.
Scenic Bedfordshire was the setting for The Marston Vale 5k in which John Russell (18:20) and Duncan Hooker (20:30) were among 300 runners.
Michael Mello finished the Borehamwood Half-Marathon in 1-39:18.
