Hitchin driver Linton Stutely's excellent start to the 2007 Formula Ford season continued.

His Getem Racing team moved on to Brands Hatch as part of the A1 Grand Prix weekend, and a crowd of more than 45,000 saw all the action.

Qualifying gave him a commendable fourth and third places on the grid for Saturday's and Sunday's races respectively.

In Saturday's race, he was delighted with third place for the second race in succession.

Sunday's race was 'red flagged' after an accident involving four cars but he was confirmed in second - his best finish to date.

Stutely is lying in fourth in the championship which is at Snetterton for the weekend of June 2-3.

P Motorcycle ace Colin Parker continued his charge for the BMCRC Forza Extreme Championship lead at Cadwell Park.

Putting in his personal best lap time of 1:37.3, he secured his place on the podium on Saturday, bringing his PAS Construction backed Yamaha R1 home in third in both races.

Parker had hoped to improve on Saturday's results during the two races on Sunday and was looking to do just that as he broke away from the rest of the pack and began to chase down the leader in race one.

But, with only a few laps to go, he crashed out at Park Straight.

Not only did this leave him battered and bruised, it also put him at the back of the grid for the start of the second race.

Despite the bruises, he put in a great performance and worked his way up to an incredible seventh place overall before the chequered flag waved.

Parker is third overall in the championship, with 10 rounds still remaining.
