ALL three local teams have the chance of cup glory in the next few days.

Potton United and Biggleswade Town clash in the final of the North Beds Charity Cup at Langford's Forde Park on Bank Holiday Monday with a 3pm ko.

Then Biggleswade United will face Dunstable Town in the final of the Beds Senior Cup at Arlesey Town (8pm ko) on Tuesday night.

Potton also missed out on an Hunts Premier Cup final appearance against Biggleswade United by losing 4-1 to bogey side St Ives at The Hollow on Tuesday night.

Will Fordham's 16th minute penalty kick put St Ives on the way to the final with Dan Pilsworth adding a second nine minutes before the interval.

The tie was wrapped up early in the second half by further goals from Pilsworth (48 minutes) and Liam Kennett four minutes later.

Brett Donnelly scored a Potton consolation on the hour.

Potton ended their league season in style with resounding victories to ensure fourth spot in the UCL Premier Division.

They travelled to Desborough on Saturday and came away with a 6-1 victory.

Lee Allinson gave the Royals a fifth minute lead and Josh Beech added a second on the stroke of half time.

Desborough pulled a goal back soon after the break before Donnelly then showed how good he is when on form with four goals in the final 27 minutes.

They entertained bottom of the league Buckingham last Thursday and won 4-1 courtesy of a Donnelly hat-trick and a goal from Allinson.

On Saturday, Biggleswade Town avoided the drop by beating Aylesbury Vale 3-1 and Biggleswade United shared six goals at home to Hertford.
