Crown Stotfold have completed the first part of what could be a memorable league and cup double.

In a high-scoring Division One Cup final at Arlesey Town on Sunday night, they were 5-2 winners against Wanderers.

Gareth Brown and Luke Goat scored a goal apiece but it was the fine form of Steve Young who bagged a hat-trick that proved to be the big difference between the two sides.

Shillington lifted the Division Two Cup against The Park last Wednesday thanks to Adam Chambers who scored the equaliser in normal time and Ross Woodbridge's extra-time winner.

George and Dragon will play AEK Letchworth in the Challenge Cup final after they eliminated the last remaining Premier Division side, Whitwell.

The game needed extra time before George and Dragon scored the winner. Gordon Guile netted the Whitwell goal.

AC Malone thumped Bar Absolute in the relegation decider in the Premier Division, the result condemning Bar Absolute to the drop while securing their own top flight status. Simon Flecknall (hat-trick), John Bonner May (two) and Kyle Stephenson scored for Malone.

Engineers Henlow took the lead against Cannon through Eddie Fannon but the title chasers struck back with goals from Luke Purchase, Simon Umney (hat-trick), Jack Gregson (two) and an own goal to finish up 7-1 victors.

The George Hitchin were able to field a near full strength team for the first time in a number of weeks and showed they are more than a match for anyone as they beat PJ Hitchin 5-4. Negus Johnson (two), Moni Nsiawete, Ben Kowalczyk and Greig Phillip scored for The George.

In Division One, Walsworth struck gold at the 17th time of asking as they picked up their first point of the season in a 3-3 draw with SMU. Paul Perrin, Ben Good and Darren Collings all netted for Walsworth.

It was a case of after the Lord Mayor's Show for AEK Letchworth as they shared eight goals with Angels Reply.

Micky Smith and Martin Wright (hat-trick) scored for AEK while Gavin Stevens, Craig Skelton, Steve Flattery and Stefan Cole scored for Angels.

Kcinsatop Res won 1-0 against Cannon Res, while Whitwell Res were 4-2 winners at Offley Parish after goals from Tommy Farrelly (two), John Harris and Liam Kelly.

Shillington and The Park both moved to within a point of the leaders as they secured away victories in Division Two.

The Park won 6-4 at Broadmead, Lee Gibbs (two), Grant Keller, Liam Duguid, Kieran Wareham and Ben Wilkie scored for The Park while Steve Young (hat-trick) and Victor Gonzalez scored for Broadmead.

Goals from Anthony Humphries and Steven Oakman could not stop Paynes Park slipping to a 3-2 home defeat to Shillington (Daniel Bridge, Chris Bourne and Ross Woodbridge).

Wanderers Res beat SMU Res 6-2 and Radcliffe Arms were 2-0 winners against Five Bells.

Dean Stephenson scored the only goal of the game as AC Malone Res beat Wilbury 1-0.

Baldock Sunday lost 3-2 to North Herts Hatters. Matt Dear scored twice for Baldock but North Herts fought back and sneaked a win with goals from Neil Walker (two) and Dean Wilkinson.
