It's full steam ahead for Baldock Engine as they made it through to the Division One Cup final after beating Angels Reply 3-1 in the game of the day.

The two sides are locked in battle at the top of the table so this game really was too close to call.

However in the end goals from Adam Shelley, Daniel Bennett and Kevin Higlett gave the team from Baldock victory.

In the final they will play Kcinsatop Res who pulled off a major surprise as they eliminated The Park after extra time.

With the game tied at two goals apiece, a late error in The Park defence allowed Kcinsatop to snatch a winner with minutes of extra time remaining.

Whitwell thumped Cannon 7-0 to move into the last four of the George John Memorial Trophy, Simon Chipperfield, Wayne Mulloolly (two), Paul Stagg (two) and Jamie Dixon (two) on target.

In the Challenge Cup, Green Man Ickleford put their indifferent league form behind them to record a good 3-1 win at home to Ocean's Eleven.

Operation Swordfish enjoyed a win by the same scoreline against Shillington Sunday.

In league action, AEK Letchworth continued to push the normal title contenders all the way after a 4-1 win at home to Crown Stotfold, Dale Clark, Matt Wilson, Howard Mills and Martin Wright netting.

Kcinsatop enjoyed a 3-1 win at home to relegation threatened HTS Barleycorn, while the division's basement club AC Malone could only muster a goal from Adam Watson as they fell to defeat against lacklustre Red Star ICL (Ross Pateman two, James Campbell and Chris Reeves).

In Division One, there was a 10-goal thriller between SMU and Wanderers.

The point gained in a 5-5 draw helps edge SMU a step nearer safety, but they did it the hard way fighting back from 4-2 down. Adam Sayer (two), Simon Carter, Chris Reidy and Joe Gormell scored for SMU.

A Matt Ryall goal was scant consolation for Cannon Res as they slumped to another home defeat, this time at the hands of HTS Barleycorn Res.

In Division Two, Wilbury won the bottom of the table clash with AC Malone Res, leapfrogging them in the process after a well-earned 3-1 win.

Rob Delaney and Terry Gunn gave Wilbury a two-goal lead inside 10 minutes that they never looked like surrendering. Even after Simon Buck pulled one back from the spot, Andy Hatch was on hand to restore the two-goal cushion.

Jackmans Jackdaws beat Radcliffe Arms 2-0 at The Creamery.

Offley Parish's season is in danger of imploding as they lost for the second consecutive week, Broadmead taking full advantage on this occasion and winning 5-1 thanks to goals from Matt Furniss (three), Victor Gonzalez and Chris Day.

The defeat left Shillington to take full advantage and they cruised to a 5-0 win at home to Walsworth.

Dan Gruncell returned from two weeks' rest to fire the Shills ahead - a goal dedicated to Spurs later that afternoon - Tid Burr, Kieron Dempsey, Ross Woodbridge and Dan Bentley also beating the Walsworth rearguard.

Just one game took place in Division Three between Wanderers Res and Three Tuns Galacticos and it finished all square with both sides scoring just the once.

In the Subsidiary Cup group one, Clifton Sunday picked up their first three points after a last minute goal by Leighton Machin rounded off a 4-3 win against Paynes Park.

Earlier goals from Mark Gilchrist (two) and Chris Coveney had looked like giving both sides a point until that late strike.

The Phoenix crashed to a 4-2 defeat against Dynamo Letchworth. Goals from Ian Hutchison and Andy Maguire proved to be too little too late and that all but ends their hopes of making it through to the final in April.
