The stars of the greatest season in the history of Stotfold Football Club have been honoured.

The club's annual dinner and presentation evening was at Timbers nightclub, Astwick, on Saturday.

President Ted Saunders was joined by more 130 players, officials, sponsors and guests including George Whiting, vice-chairman of the Eagle Bitter United Counties League.

The club became both UCL Premier Division and Reserve Division One champions in the same season, the latter without losing a game.

In addition, the first team won the Beds Senior Cup on Monday night, while the reserves also won the Beds Intermediate Cup and have reached the final of the Biggleswade KO Cup.
