Stevenage boxer Loz Bell has won his fifth Home Counties title.
Bell boxed Alfie Smith of Sandy on Friday night in Milton Keynes for the Home Counties junior ABA title.
It was always going to be a hard bout against a powerful puncher who has had many more bouts than Bell.
The first round was dominated by Bell's long jarring jabs and neat footwork although he was caught with two big powerful shots from Smith.
The second round was more cagey as Smith wanted a scrap but Bell scored with fast left hooks to the head and body.
As the last bell went, Smith come out with all guns blazing but Bell more than matched the Sandy boxer.
Bell now fights England's number one ranked boxer next week in the quarter-finals of the junior ABAs.
