Nirankari have completed three-quarters of a fabulous quadruple this season.

The county cup and Premier Division winners added the Greg Cup by beating Probuild 2-0 at Hitchin Town's Top Field last Thursday night

Probuild dominated much of the match, Jamie Campney's strike going inches wide of the post and Richard Hall's shot being blocked by the keeper in the six-yard box within the first 10 minutes.

Two minutes later, Gary Pomfret beat two players and curled the ball over the despairing keeper only for it to rebound off the bar as the teams went in level.

The second half saw Probuild continue to miss chances as Pomfret's corner was met by Adam Mackenzie's thunderous header with Lee Gibbs clearing off the line.

Probuild then thought they had made the breakthrough but it was disallowed.

Pomfret's cross was knocked down and Stephen Skinner found Mackenzie unmarked who drilled a low shot past the keeper. The ball was about go in when Hall followed up on the line to smash into the roof of the net, only for it to be disallowed for offside.

Both teams introduced all their substitutes and this paid dividends for Nirankari as they took the lead on 77 minutes against the run of play.

David Iwediuno's powerful shot was parried away by the keeper to the far post and the unmarked Shaun Turner tapped in from close range.

Nirankari found another gear and added a second goal with a left-foot shot from Iwediuno on 81 minutes after a scramble in the box.

The third and final recent meeting between the teams is again at Top Field in the Benevolent Shield next Thursday (May 1).

Nirankari, only formed this season by Craig Abbiss and Bobby Dhillon, will hope to go through the season unbeaten.

The champs ended the league season by hitting New Greens for six in a one-sided match.

They opened the scoring on 10 minutes with a penalty coolly taken by Ben L'Honore. The second came from Scott Orphanou after some wonderful one-touch passing.

Nirankari added four more goals in the second half through keeper Ed Windsor from the penalty spot, Gibbs, Iwediuno and a second goal from L'Honore.

Wilbury Wanderers beat St Ippolyts by a single goal in the other Premier Division fixture.

White Hart are aiming for a league and cup double after clinching the Division One North title in a seven-goal thriller at The Orchard and Anvil.

The only talking point of a goal-less first half was Deesch Achal heading off the line from a White Hart attack.

Five minutes into the second half, Darren Urqhart gave away a penalty and White Hart's Mark Holmes made no mistake from the penalty spot.

White Hart made it 2-0 as Ollie Rowath scored two minutes later and another counter attack saw a third after a home defender scored in his own net.

The Orchard's revival was swift and Urqhart's free-kick went into the top corner before sub Cameron Fell delivered an inch-perfect cross which Daniel Smith met beautifully.

With five minutes to go, The Orchard were awarded a penalty after James French fouled Marc Campbell in the box. Urqhart stepped up and calmly made it level at 3-3.

With The Orchard sensing all three points, French atoned when he scored the winner for White Hart with virtually the last kick of the game.

White Hart are playing in the divisional cup final against Magnum tonight (Thursday) at Hitchin Town's Top Field.

Kimpton Rovers scored seven without reply at bottom side Westwell.

First-half goals came from Mark Harrington and striker Craig Barnes.

The second half saw Barnes unleash a tremendous right-foot shot, Sam Gibbs score a fourth, and Matt Westwood a fifth.

Barnes scored his 16th goal of the season and his second of the afternoon before Westwood added his second late on after some trickery.
