Letchworth Ladies are holding their 2008 trials a week on Saturday (September 6) at Whitethorn Lane, starting at 11.30am.
Anyone interested in playing for one of Hertfordshire's premier clubs is welcome to come along.
With four ladies' teams playing in various leagues up to East Division One, there is room for everyone.
The club, which has always had a strong reputation for both its hockey and as a friendly, family-orientated club, is particularly looking this year for goalkeepers (kit can be provided for those who do not have their own).
Letchworth Ladies are also hosting their annual tournament on Sunday, September 7, with strong opposition from St Albans, Cambridge City and Bedford Ladies.
With all four teams having played National League hockey in recent years, the standard promises to be good, even for a pre-season friendly event. Games start at 10am.
Registration for all Letchworth Hockey Club's mini/junior age groups (five to 15 years) for this season will be taking place at Whitethorn Lane a week on Saturday (September 6) at 9.30am, followed by a fun coaching session.
Normal coaching resumes on Sunday, September 14, at 10am.
