Stotfold remain unbeaten in the UCL Premier Division this season after sharing six goals at home to St Ives on Tuesday night.

The visitors took the lead but only after Freddie Morris had hit the crossbar minutes earlier.

Brad Gillham collided with a St Ives player as he punched the ball clear and his clearance was put straight back into the box for Dan Moyes to side foot in on eight minutes.

A good stop from Gillham's feet denied Liam Kennett before he was given a straight red for violent conduct after a challenge with Paul Donnelly, the assistant referee bringing it to the attention of official Robert Desmond on 32 minutes.

Stotfold drew level shortly afterwards when a loose ball in the box was knocked forward for Morris to run on to and fire low under keeper James Jackson five minutes later.

Stotfold went ahead a minute into the new half after Callum Donnelly's twisting and turning in the box was brought to a halt by Dan Newman and Neil Smith belted in the resulting penalty.

The lead lasted just nine minutes after a corner was only headed as far as Newman who struck the ball well through the crowd from the edge of the box.

Scott Rennie's shot was deflected off Smith and into the back of the net but disallowed for offside.

Callum Donnelly restored the lead on 82 minutes when he took a good pass forward into the box and buried it into the top corner.

The equaliser came late on when Scott Fielding drove forward and struck the ball over Gillham in the second minute of stoppage time.

Gillham made a great reaction save from Fielding shortly afterwards to deny the visitors all three points.

Rokermen: Gillham, Rennie, P Donnelly, Taylor, Hull, Mitchell, Bryant, Smith, Beckwith, C Donnelly, Morris (Potasnick).

* Stotfold won 3-1 at home to Colney Heath in the FA Cup extra preliminary round on Saturday.

The visitors from the South Midlands League started brightly with Jake Parratt's well-hit shot from the edge of the box forcing Brad Gillham to parry the ball over the bar on 10 minutes.

This sparked a good response from Stotfold with Freddie Morris cutting in from the right and belting the ball into the far top corner a minute later.

Stotfold attempts to extend the lead were in vain as Callum Donnelly chose to try and chip Colney Heath keeper Tom Blackman, Ryan Aldrin fired over the bar from the middle of the box when the keeper was out of position, and Stuart Potasnick's strong run into the box finished with a shot straight into the arms of Blackman.

The punishment for the missed chances was delivered at the start of the second half, when Parratt's low shot from the left bounced off the bottom of the far post to the feet of Richard Howard to knock the ball over the line on 52 minutes.

The lead, however, was restored two minutes later when Aldrin's crossfield ball forward was tapped past the oncoming keeper by Callum Donnelly for him to pass the ball into the net from the right.

Shortly after the goal a good defensive block denied Rob Beckwith a chance to get a two-goal cushion with the fans unable to relax until the 89th minute when Ryan Mitchell's cross from the right was met by Potasnick's head at the far post.

This ensured a next round meeting away to Halstead Town after they beat London APSA 4-1.

Rokermen: Gillham, Rennie, P Donnelly, Shambrook (Smith), Hull, Mitchell, Morris, Beckwith, Potasnick, C Donnelly (Bowskill), Aldrin.
