Henlow seconds lived to fight another week in the Beds League Division Three on Sunday.
Opener Phil Chudley fell just five short of a century as Henlow amassed 268-4 in their 46 overs at their Biggleswade counterparts, receiving solid support from son James (46) and Merrick Baltruschat (44).
Biggleswade lost a clutch of early wickets to Lee Ownsworth (4-22 in seven overs) and only Jerry Keen's 49 helped them reach 155 all out in 36 overs.
Opener Baltruschat's unbeaten 73 helped Henlow to a six-wicket friendly win over Kempston Methodists on Saturday as they successfully chased down the visitors' 151 all out.
