The ladies' squad at Hitchin Rugby Club are looking for women of all shapes, sizes and fitness levels!

All are welcome to give the sport a try as the ladies are dispelling the myth that girls cannot play rugby!

Despite a number of rugby clubs in the North Herts area, they are the only adult female team and are looking for more players, to play for fun and in league games.

The ladies regularly play matches around the area in both touch rugby and full contact. And not only does rugby improve fitness and keep you in shape, they also have a fun time off the pitch as well!

Open evenings of touch rugby will be held at Hitchin Rugby Club's King George V playing fields off Old Hale Way on Thursdays from August 7 at 7.30pm.
