The 21 year old's blistering knock at the Geoff Banks-Smith Cricket Ground in Lilley included 14 fours and 11 sixes, including five in one over from spinner Haverty.

The home side set a new club record total of 327-5 from 40 overs, with Tim Perry hitting an unbeaten 59 from 57 balls.

Division Two leaders Datchworth won by nine wickets in a top of the table clash with Great Gaddesden.

A weak Datchworth attack bowled impressively and restricted Great Gaddesden early on before managing to bowl them out thanks to Reece Pybus (2-12), Lewis Tyler (4-34) and Will Nash (2-40).

With a weak side, Datchworth were expecting to make hard work of reaching the target.

However, Luke Bennett continued his recent fine form and took the game away from the visitors in a 152-run partnership with Dave Barlett (33).

Number three Darren Croucher hit three fours in the 35th over, winning the game in style although leaving Bennett stranded on 99no!

Ickleford took part in an excellent game of cricket against Division One leaders Luton and Houghton Town.

No less than 531 runs were scored on another great batting track at Ickleford.

Houghton batted aggressively from the start and showed no mercy to any delivery not on the spot in amassing 289-7 in 40 overs with Wasar making 138.

Roy Izzard had the most economical bowling spell with 3-41 and the only maiden of the day! Scott Crouch took 3-51 and Peter Robinson 1-30.

Ickleford were not daunted by the huge task and were up with the rate from the beginning.

Richard Peareth dominated the innings with a superb maiden century and he hit the ball to all corners in his 104.

Good support came from Robinson (26), Dan Watson (26) and John Clark (17) but the task proved beyond Ickleford as they were all out for 242.

Baldock remain bottom of the division after losing by six wickets to Crawley Green Nomads.
