The spoils went to PJ Hitchin after a superb 2-0 win which put them three points clear at the top of the table. Scorers for PJ were Craig Skelton and Richard Szarvas.

The Park continued their winning run as goals from Ben L'honore, Lee Gibbs and Ed Holloway were just enough to beat Cannon by a score of 3-2. Robbie Somers and Nick Ryall got the goals for Cannon.

HTS Barleycorn had a good home win against Whitwell coming out 4-1 on top. On the scoresheet were Chris Powell with two, plus Danny Clarke and Craig Goode with one apiece.

Honours were even in the game between Crown Stotfold and Red Star which finished in a 2-2 draw.

In Division One, Shillington went seven points clear at the top by winning 4-1 against Jackmans Jackdaws who were reduced to nine men following two red cards.

On the scoresheet for the 'Pirates' were Ross Woodbridge, 'Blag' Bridge, Sergio Dempsey and Darnell Burr.

Chequers Stotfold scored two against Whitwell Res without reply thanks to Martin Oakley and Samual Gibson, and Kcinsatop Res won by the same scoreline against SMU.

AC Malone kept the pressure on Shillington in an eight-goal thriller against Wanderers.

Malones scored twice in the first 20 minutes through Jeff King and Sean Duigan and looked to be coasting to a comfortable victory until Wanderers got a goal back via James Taylor.

Wanderers levelled the scores at 2-2 when Barney Buck finished from close range. John Bonner-May scored as Malones took the lead again but this only lasted five minutes when Stuart Smillie headed in from a Mark Norriss corner.

Malones edged ahead yet again with a goal about 20 minutes from time by Rob Dowler. Then as Wanderers looked for the equaliser, Malones sealed the game with a second goal for Dowler three minutes from the end.

Operation Swordfish had a goal fest in Division Two, putting nine goals past Dynamo Letchworth who managed one consolation goal in reply.

Shillington Sunday were another team that had a good day by winning 6-1 against Broadmead.

North Herts Hatters continued their impressive start to the season with a narrow victory against a hardy Cannon Res side.

Marcus Sarll opened the scoring for the Hatters before Cannon scored from the penalty spot through Jason Harrison after a foul by Shaun Smith. Hatters sealed the points when Sarll struck again with a scissor kick that also stopped Cannon gaining their first point of the season.

Red Hart almost gained their first league points of the season with goal machine Adam Myers bagging a superb hat-trick against Clifton Sunday.

However, Clifton managed to hang on to claim a 4-3 victory thanks to goals from Glenn Clarke, Ashley Schurch, James Curly and Jacob Kirby on his debut plus a string of fine second-half saves from their goalkeeper.

In Division Three, Athletico Hitchin went goal grazy and despite conceding three scored 11 to thrash LGC Spartans. The goals from Brian Humphries (four), Stephen Oakman (hat-trick), Richard Gates (two) and Anthony Humphries (two) put Athletico top on goal difference.

Goals from James Tizard and Shaun Jenkins gave Clifton Sunday Res a 2-0 lead but Walsworth fought back for a share of the spoils forcing a 2-2 draw and taking a point.

Green Man Ickleford suffered a rare defeat by losing 2-0 to Wilbury. Both Wilbury goals came in the first half from Dan Levy and Jamie Hatch.

Wanderers Res picked up their second league win 4-1 against lowly Paynes Park thanks to two goals each from Mayo Fadaka and Steve Parker.
