Hitchin Hearts ran out convincing 5-0 winners against Watton Ladies last weekend.

It took only three minutes for the Hearts to find the net when Frankie Locock neatly slotted the ball home and more chances should have been taken before Katerina Hamplova nudged home Laura Ravenscroft's corner.

Towards the end of the half Watton did get forward well and created a couple of good chances but the speed of Katerina Hamplova saw her leave two defenders standing as Hearts caught the visitors on the break,to make it 3-0 before half time.

Watton saw more of the ball in the second half but were unable to make an impression against a defence that has not conceded a goal in the league so far this season.

With Hitchin Hearts making sweeping moves forward goals were bound to follow and Katerina Hamplova completed her hat-trick when she helped a shot past the Watton keeper before Frankie Locock scored her second and Hearts' fifth.

Another complete performance from the Hearts with every single player deserving of praise for their efforts.

Next week they play Baldock in the League Cup which will be a real test against one the sides challenging them for the League title this season.
