Blueharts Ladies faced Broxbourne seconds and fought hard against a stubborn Broxbourne defence in the first half. Despite many attempts on goal Blueharts struggled to get on the score board.
Eventually the ball managed to make its way into the goal off of captain, Tamzin Wright's stick. Then, shortly after Loren Christian scored just before half time. In the second half Blueharts played a much more defensive game, with all players trying to keep control of the game. Although Broxbourne managed to get a goal before the final whistle it was nothing more than a consolation.
