THE light switch-off continues to get people in Comet country talking, with most letters this week on this topic.

The big switch-off, it seems, has split the views of our readers. Some letters we’ve had this week claim the black-out is dangerous, but others think it’s a good thing and will save tax payers money.

Elsewhere, the Top Field letters are still coming in, showing that the Comet’s campaign and the Save Top Field group are effectively spreading the message that we want the club to stay at its home.

This week, you’ve also been talking about parking at Lister and in Hitchin, and the Arlesey 1,000 homes development.
