Do you know someone exceptional who works with children and young people? Do you think they deserve an award for their work?

Nominations are being sought for the Chairman’s Civic Reception Awards being held in February by North Herts District Council.

The four categories on offer are outstanding contribution to children and young people, young achiever, student achiever and sports volunteer.

Council chairman Tricia Cowley said: “The aim of the awards is to recognise the exceptional commitment of the youth workers and volunteers that run clubs and groups and deliver activities every week for young people.
