BELIEVE it or not, this impressive photograph of Jupiter and its moons was taken on one of the most basic cameras you can buy by a 12-year-old boy.

The photographer in question, Daniel Davey, stood outside with his camera and wouldn’t stop snapping until he got the perfect shot.

The Year 8 Highfield School pupil, who lives in Lawrence Avenue, Letchworth GC, took the picture last Friday night.

His mother Melissa said: “Daniel took a fabulous picture and you can clearly see all four moons.

“He had just a simple Nikon camera - basic model - and steadfastly stood outside taking photos of the planet.”
