CHRISTMAS came early for the three winners of our Comet Christmas wordsearch competition, which was run in conjunction with the Stevenage Town Centre Management.

Mrs Janet Hull from Stevenage was the first name drawn from over 600 entries and she scooped £100 Boots Opticians vouchers. Mrs Mavis Holliday from Letchworth will be toasting the New Year with a bottle of bubbly as the winner of a case of Champagne and the third prize of a family ticket to see the Christmas panto, Dick Whittington, was won by Mrs Clark from Biggleswade.

"We had an excellent response to our competition", said Stevenage Town Centre manager Tracey Parry.

"Thanks to the generosity of Boots, Yates and the Gordon Craig Theatre, we have been able to spread a little Christmas cheer to our three winners".

Stevenage town centre is open for late night shopping every Thursday until Christmas, with extended opening throughout Christmas week in most major stores.
