The speaker at the February meeting was Barbara Lovejoy who gave a very interesting and informative talk on the history of lace. This was illustrated by slides which traced the history of lace from early Egyptian to modern machine made lace. The AGM takes place on Wednesday, March 8, at 7.30pm in the Memorial Hall at 7.30pm, after the business section there will be a talk by Sallie Munden of Taylor's Nursery.
