A woman was taken to hospital this morning after a two-vehicle collision which caused long delays on the A505 between Baldock and Royston.
Emergency services were called to the section of the A505 near to Royston Road after a collision between a silver Citroen C2 car and a white pick-up truck at about 11.30 this morning.
A woman who was travelling in the car was taken to Lister Hospital in Stevenage to be treated for her injuries.
The collision caused long delays on the A505, and a lane was temporarily blocked in the westbound direction at about 12.30pm.
A separate collision also took place in the resulting traffic between two cars which was damage only.
