A MAN has been arrested after a woman's body was found at an address in Stevenage.
Police were alerted to the scene in Stanmore Road in the Old Town at 8.30am on Thursday by a neighbour who heard noises and have cordoned off the house.
The victim, who is believed to have been stabbed, is a 40-year-old woman. A 59-year-old man was arrested and is being held in custody.
