THE woman killed by a fast train at Stevenage Railway station on Monday morning was named today when an inquest was opened and adjourned into her death.
Hertfordshire Coroner's office said the dead woman was Katherine Clarke, 45, of Cavell Walk, Stevenage.
Cause of death was given as multiple traumatic injuries. A full inquest will be held at a later date.
British Transport Police investigated the tragedy and a spokesman said today that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding Mrs Clarke's death.
