A woman has been jailed for 12 weeks after being found in possession of heroin.
Kirsty Brooks, of no fixed address, admitted being in possession of a wrap of heroin in Stevenage on July 28.
The 30-year-old also admitted stealing two bottles of Jack Daniels from a Sainsbury’s store in Waltham Cross on the same day, and pleaded guilty to failing to provide a drugs sample after being arrested for the theft.
Brooks was jailed after a hearing at Stevenage Magistrates Court on August 19 and was ordered to pay £115 victim surcharge.
The heroin was ordered to be confiscated.
