A woman was slightly injured after the car she was driving collided with another vehicle earlier this morning (Wednesday).
The East of England Ambulance Service was alerted to the junction of Wheatlands and the Whiteway in Stevenage at 7.41am. The 999 calls received stated that the occupants may possibly be trapped. Ambulance crews from Letchworth and Stevenage attended the scene.
Ambulance service spokesman Gary Sanderson said: "A woman believed to be in her 20s was treated at the scene by ambulance crews for a neck injury. She was immobilised on a spinal board as a precautionary measure before being conveyed to the Lister Hospital in Stevenage."
A man driving the other car did not require to go to hospital.
