A 25-year-old woman was injured after her bicycle collided with a car on St George's Way, Stevenage, last night.
The East of England Ambulance Service was alerted to the roundabout opposite the swimming pool at 10.09pm. Ambulance crews from Stevenage and Welwyn attended the scene. Ambulance service spokesman Gary Sanderson said: "The young lady was very lucky not to have been seriously injured in this incident. Paramedics treated her at the roadside before taking her to the Lister Hospital with a minor back injury."
The male driver of the car was uninjured.
