A woman charged in connection with the murder of a 21-year-old man has been denied bail.
Jolene Josie Ward appeared at Luton Crown Court for a preliminary hearing today (Wednesday) and was remanded in custody.
Police investigating the murder of Thomas Ward, who was fatally shot in the chest at a caravan site in Dyes Lane, Stevenage, in April of last year, arrested Ward and charged her with assisting an offender.
Her husband John Boy Ward, who is also Thomas’ second cousin, has been arrested in Denmark on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.
