A woman has been charged with drink driving after a three vehicle collision at the junction between Graveley Road and North Road in Stevenage yesterday evening.

At 5.50pm police were called to the junction after reports that a car had collided with two other vehicles.

Amie Keene, aged 32, from Webb Rise Stevenage, was arrested at the scene and has since been charged with driving above the prescribed alcohol limit, failing to stop after an accident and failing to report an accident. She has been bailed to appear at Stevenage Magistrates Court on April 18.

No-one was seriously injured in the crash but one of the vehicles caught fire.

One fire engine from Stevenage dealt with the blaze and ambulance crews gave minor first aid to three people at the scene.
