A WOMAN arrested in police raids last week has been charged with drug offences.

Lisa Stimson has been charged with possessing class A and class B drugs following an early morning raid at her home in Mulberry Way, Hitchin, on Friday.

The 30-year-old has been bailed to appear before North East Herts Magistrates’ Court next Wednesday, May 8.

Police made two further arrests as part of Operation Scorpion, where Hitchin addresses in Chaucer Way, Gainsford Crescent, Oughton Head Way, Stevenage Road and Nursery Hill were also targeted.

Two men from Hitchin aged 23 and 28 were arrested on suspicion of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply, with the former being released on bail until June 5 and the latter until May 31.
