A woman needed hospital treatment after being assaulted outside a pub in Stevenage in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Police said officers were called to the scene outside The Drapers Arms, in Stevenage Old Town, at 4.03am – after reports “that a woman had been assaulted by a woman known to her”.
A police spokeswoman said: “The victim was then further assaulted – punched in the face – by a man outside Waitrose in High Street, before again being assaulted by the woman.
“The victim suffered a black eye and bruising.”
