Witness appeal for women who intervened in Stevenage assault

An appeal for two witnesses to come forward has been launched after they intervened during an assault.Witne

The offence occurred on Tuesday, May 6th at 3.30pm on a footpath between Fairlands Way and Chepstow Park in Stevenage.

The two victims, both girls aged 13, were walking along the footpath when they have been approached by a group of youths. A boy and a girl have assaulted the victims and have then made off towards Derby Way.

Officers believe at the time of the offence, two women may have tried to intervene.
