POLICE are calling for witnesses to come forward who saw thieves walking down a road carrying two large flat screen televisions after a burglary on Saturday night.

The TVs were stolen between 7.30pm and 7.50pm at a property in Fleetwood, Letchworth GC, and the offenders walked along the road with them before getting into a small red car, possibly a Ford Ka, which was parked to the side of the shops. Detective Constable Ben Dixon, from the Hitchin Local Crime Unit, said: “We are very keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or noticed anyone acting suspiciously to get in touch. I am particularly keen to speak with anyone who may have seen people walking along Fleetwood carrying two flat screen televisions or who may have any information at all in relation to this incident to come forward.”

Three males, aged 18, 16 and 14, have been arrested in connection with the incident and have been bailed to return on August 2.
