Nobody does Frank Sinatra better than Stephen Triffitt. His voice, his moves, his style, even his looks – Stephen has made the great man his own.

Stephen Triffitt pays tribute to his hero with a special show “Sinatra’s Live At the Sands Concert” which heads out to the Civic hall in Broxbourbe on September 5.

And we want you to be there, because we have teamed up with the promoters to offer two of our readers the chance to win a pair of tickets to see the show.

“Sinatra’s Live At the Sands Concert” is powered by a full band emulating the famous Count Basie Orchestra under the then musical direction of a young Quincy Jones. The pairing of Basie and Sinatra was magical, causing Sinatra to say it was “probably the most exciting engagement I’ve ever done in my life”. It was a legendary show captured on the 1966 album of the same name. It provides the perfect glimpse of Sinatra at the height of his vocal powers, an entertaining genius who had the world at his feet.

Stephen Triffitt’s take on that memorable night is a delight. The show highlights all the different guises Frank had at his disposal and features some of his best loved hits such as Under My Skin, Come Fly With Me and My Kind Of Town, some of his most famous saloon ballads and some of his most exciting if lesser known songs like Get me To The Church On Time.

Shows start at 7.30pm. If you like Frank Sinatra you will LOVE this show!
