Our prize features two nights dinner, bed & breakfast staying in either a deluxe twin or double room in the new wing, which opened in December 2006, plus a round of golf on the hotel’s 18-hole golf course (par 71), as well as a relaxing massage in The Lilac Rooms.

A chilled bottle of champagne will be delivered to your room on arrival.

Dinner, comprising three courses will be served in the Brasserie, Bar & Grill. You can either choose from the brasserie menu featuring classic dishes using the best of local produce, or sample the famous Dunston Hall Carvery.

The hotel’s ‘Great British Breakfast’ is also served in the Brasserie Bar & Grill; enjoy grilled pork and leek sausages, back bacon, black pudding, grilled tomato, mushrooms and eggs of your choice. Also on offer: Eggs Benedict with bacon, smoked salmon or field mushrooms, grilled local kippers and smoked salmon with scrambled egg, then sample home made jams and marmalade with toast and rolls.

Free use of the hotel’s Leisure Club with its 15-metre heated indoor swimming pool, steam room, jacuzzi, sauna and well-equipped gym is also in the prize package.
