Monday’s Ashwell Show proved to be a hit with the punters as the wild and the wonderful drew the crowds once again.

The annual bonanza proved to be a cut above the rest with a smorgasbord of entertainment including a display of reptiles, chainsaw milling and motorbike stunts.

As well as plenty of food and drink on offer, there was go-karting, a Punch and Judy show and entertainment from Woody Wizzzzz the magician.

Organiser Claire Grimmer said: “Despite the weather plenty of people still turned out on the day.

“I think the most popular event by far was the Messy Kids tent which was always full, but there was also plenty of people watching the Adrenaline Tour motorbike stunts.”
