Chairman Margaret Abbiss welcomed members and visitors to our January meeting and wished every one a Happy New Year. Subscriptions will remain at £10 for the coming year. Letter received from Stevenage Women's Refuge thanking us for donations of money, clothes, toys etc. before Christmas. Diary dates: Games evening January 23, Arts and Crafts annual dinner January 25 at the Wagon and Horses Graveley, Luncheon Club meeting at The Harvester Stevenage on January 30. After the business we had a fun evening with a Beetle Drive, won by Carol Morrison. Our next meeting will be Wednesday, February 8 when our speaker will be Mel Blackshaw on Taking the Mystery out of Antiques. Competition - any antique item. 7.30pm. start at Whitehill School, visitors welcome.
