I reminisce. One Bank Holiday weekend, having queued for hours to see a cave boasting a bottomless pit, I watched my son consume everything in sight at teatime and wondered why I had wasted my money. Teenager Josh Pye from St Martin's Road is just at that stage. Notwithstanding which, he recently succeeded in fasting for 24 hours for World Vision and raising £380.
