IT'S time to wrap up warm, look to the skies and enjoy the delights of Bonfire Night as November 5 is once again upon us.
People in Comet country will be spoilt for choice on where best to warm their hands by the fire this weekend.
Here are just a few options...
In Hitchin, Strathmore School's annual bonfire and fireworks extravaganza looks set to set the sky alight on a great family night this Saturday.
The event, at Old Hale Way, runs from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Tickets are £5 for adults, £3 for children and £12 for a family ticket.
Elsewhere in the town, at the Blueharts Hockey Club in Lucas Lane there will be fireworks on Sunday evening from 8pm. £5 adults, £3 under-10s.
In Shuttleworth, at Old Warden Park, there is a fireworks and music night tomorrow (Friday) with a percentage of proceeds being donated to Keech Cottage Children's Hospice.
Tickets are available from www.ccptickets.co.uk or by phoning 0870 042 0980, £7 adults, £5 children. Gates open from 6pm.
A free display at Fairlands Valley Park in Stevenage on Bonfire Night starts at 7.30pm and the usual dramatic display can be expected.
Also on Sunday, there is the Letchworth Garden City and Baldock Lions Club Charity Fireworks Display taking place at the County Ground, Baldock Road, Letchworth GC. The gates open at 5.30pm for a 7pm start.
Tickets are available from David's Music Shop, priced at £3.50 for adults and £1.50 for children, or on the night for £4 adults and £2 kids.
In Stotfold there are events-a-plenty with fireworks displays on Friday at Stotfold Scout headquarters in Baldock Road (from 7pm, £2.50 admission) and the Fox and Duck in Arlesey Road (from 7pm, £2).
Other events in the town include one at Roecroft Lower School on Saturday (from 6pm, £3 adults, £1.50 children), and another at Stotfold Football Club on Sunday from 7pm, with adult tickets £4, children tickets £2 and family tickets £10.
If you live in the Ashwell area, on Saturday there is a large fireworks display taking place on Hinxworth Recreation Ground. Gates open at 5.30pm and local home-cooked food will be on offer with all proceeds going to Ashwell School.
The Crown in Aston will be lighting up the sky on November 5 with a display from 6pm onwards.
Finally, at Pirton recreation ground this Saturday, from 7pm, there is a fireworks display with a bar, barbecue and mulled wine available. Tickets for adults are £4 and for children £2. A car with occupants is £10.
